ToolQuokka ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. This policy has been drafted bearing in mind data regulations such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our services:
- Files you upload: Processed on our servers solely to perform the requested operation (convert, compress, merge, etc.). We do not access, view, share, or analyze the content of your files.
- IP address: Used temporarily for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Not stored permanently or shared with third parties.
- Usage analytics: Anonymous page views and tool usage collected via Google Analytics.
We do not require registration, accounts, or personal information to use our tools.
2. File Storage & Deletion
All uploaded and processed files are stored temporarily on our servers and are automatically and permanently deleted within 30 minutes. You retain full ownership and rights to all files you upload.
3. Cookies & Tracking
We use the following cookies and tracking technologies:
- Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*) — Anonymous usage statistics to understand how people use our tools. Data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. - Cloudflare (
__cf_bm) — Essential security cookie used to distinguish human visitors from bots and mitigate DDoS attacks.
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the core functionality of our tools.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with the following third-party services that may receive limited data:

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to any third party.
5. Data Security
We take the following measures to protect your data:
- All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption (HSTS enforced)
- Files are processed in isolated operations and deleted automatically
- Rate limiting protects against abuse and overload
- No user accounts or passwords are stored

Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt out of analytics tracking (via browser settings or cookie consent)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Since we do not require accounts and do not permanently store personal data, most of these rights are satisfied automatically.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
